Fun in The Sun Giveaway Hop


Thanks to Cari at Cari Blogs and Kate at Ex Libris for hosting this giveaway to kick off the summer!  I know this is the time of year many people get to catch up on their reading.  What better way to kick off the summer than by winning a book!

    Plans for the summmer... a lot of reading! LOL But I do think we are taking our kids to Sesame Place for a couple days. It is always a lot of fun! Thanks for the giveaway! :)

    I'm a new teacher, & although I love teaching I'm sorely waiting for summer. My mother is also a teacher, and she is recovering from a knee surgery, so I'm hoping I'll get to spend lots of time with her, reading books by the beach. I also plan on doing a lot of cooking with her, and learning a lot of recipes of hers. I know it doesn't sound like much...but books, family and the ocean breeze is about all I need to survive! :)

    I plan on catching up on all the books that I have been leaving behind due to schoolwork. There's a potential wedding planned in my extended family in Canada. My immediate family and I usually do a lot of barbeques and cookouts. I play badminton all summer long, since it's a varsity sport in the fall. And of course, the not-so-fun summer work for AP classes in high school. Ew. lol

    I don't plan on doing much of anything. My oldest is graduating high school and moving away for college, and I'll just be hanging with the rest of my kids. We were supposed to go away but I had a heart attack and can't go anywhere.

    Great giveaway. I'm staying busy this summer, I have 2 weddings, a 10 year anniversary party, my son's birthday, 2 nephews birthdays, my baby bros 21, and a trip out of state with my husband. Lots of celebrations and drinks :)

    I'm taking 4 classes this summer. Tons of fun. But really, I'm laying by the pool, reading, and hanging out with friends when I'm not in class.
